Becky! Always cool to see how there is crossover and new ideas in pretty much every team members post each month.

Starting out with the customer focus makes the rest of the steps seem even more logical. And I think Green IT has huge potential. Everything seems to be trying to play into green for better or for worse, but it's the right thing to do in IT and would be a boon for the IT firm.

Becky: I agree with your strategies for this IT company. I would add one other component to the new business process. I'd join the organizations your prospects join with the expectation of getting solutions to their problems. These organizations may not be IT-oriented. They may be industry groups or application-oriented groups. By getting involved and known there, approaching buyers becomes easier and more productive as well.

I also thank you for the brief from which all of us BrandingWire pundits where able to provide some really relevant suggestions. There was a lot of unity as well because of the brief. Martin

Understanding customers' needs also means learning more about their business and narrowing down the types of businesses might actually increase the amount of (valued) work done for them. Good use of evangelism!

As always, Becky, you are on target. Keep it simple, sell green, and lose the jargon. I completely agree.
